The NOR625 is an important part of the Norsound 600 range of different profile threshold plates. This important device is made from hard-wearing T6060 grade Aluminium and anodized to the uppermost standard. These threshold plates are made from hard-wearing aluminum and complement the Nor sound door bottom seals. They offer a level platform for the seal to find against which eventually leads to better noise reduction.

A level threshold is favored, particularly for doors in recurrent use. Internal and external door thresholds must be no more than 15mm and combine chamfered or pencil-rounded corners. Straight up surfaces should be no bigger than 5mm. Door sets selected as smoke and fire-resisting are subjected to the extra burden of smoke closure resistance, and critical ‘resistance’ to a mechanical door closing device.
